Trying to Find a Viral Tamil WhatsApp Video (Jaffna/Trincomalee School Principal Incident, 2020–2021)
Does anyone remember/find this viral Tamil video from around 2020–2021 from Jaffna/Trincomalee area?
I’ve been trying to find an old viral WhatsApp video that circulated heavily among Sri Lankan Tamil groups.
Details I remember:
- It was a selfie-style video
- A Tamil father with a moustache was aggressively confronting/scolding a school principal
- The issue was related to the abuse/humiliation of his son at school
- The father was shouting angrily, using curse words and emotionally defending his son
- I remember him mentioning “Trincomalee” at some point
- The video looked very raw/authentic, not like a TV interview
- It went viral mostly through WhatsApp forwards around 2020 or 2021
- I think it happened in Jaffna or Northern Province context
I can’t find it anywhere on YouTube/Facebook/TikTok now.
