33F4M | Looking for someone to steal my weekends

Hi! Thought I'd give this a shot.

I'm 33, female, from the Central Coast, Australian-born with Balkan roots. I’ll leave the country as a little guessing game and if you guess it correctly, I’ll buy you a coffee. ☕️

The last couple of years have been pretty focused on work and studying, so my dating and social life has taken a bit of a back seat. I'm finally at a point where I'd like to meet someone and hopefully finding a genuine connection outside of spreadsheets and textbooks.

I'm looking for someone around a similar age (mid to late 30s), Balkan background, who is kind, emotionally mature, has a good sense of humour who can laugh my socks off, and is genuinely ready to build something meaningful long term.

A perfect weekend to me isn't anything too complicated — grabbing a coffee, wandering around a farmers' market, going for a scenic drive, playing tennis, bike riding, taking a coastal walk, or finding a little café we've never tried before.

A few random things about me:

- Family is really important to me, and I'd love to have one of my own someday.

- I love cooking, especially when there's someone to cook for.

- I'm pretty private, calm and low-key. A little shy at first, but definitely cheeky once I'm comfortable.

- No tattoos, non-smoker.

- Never married, no kids.

- Not on dating apps.

- I barely drink, but on a special occasion or with good company, you'll probably find me with a Malibu and Coke. 😄

I live and work on the coast, but I'm happy to make the trip to Sydney for the right person. I actually like the idea of having the best of both worlds — city adventures one weekend, beaches and coastal sunsets the next.

I think the little things matter: good conversation, laughing at terrible jokes, sending each other random memes, remembering favourite food/places, holding hands on walks, and genuinely looking forward to seeing each other.

Chemistry is important, of course, but kindness, consistency and emotional availability are what really catch my attention.

So if this sounds like your kind of vibe, and distance isn't an issue, feel free to send me a message.

You could tell me your favourite weekend adventure, your go-to coffee order, or try your best terrible dad joke. And if you think you've worked out the Balkan country, take your guess. 😉

Worst case, we have a good chat. 👍

Best case, we end up telling people we met on Reddit and have to explain that it actually worked. 😄
