My son wants to go paddle boarding so we have arranged for a 2 hour hire at the Lake District next week. They provide the equipment plus a life jacket but there was no mention of what to wear when I booked in online.

Do I need to a wetsuit? What about shoes? I'm assuming its likely to be pretty cold and as its our first attempt we are likely to fall in plenty!
