I cut onions for the culinary and spiritual benefits, but I hate when my eyes water.

Would it be too much to wear a spacesuit to prevent that? I figure if it’s good enough to protect astronauts from the soulless, empty vacuum of cold and unfeeling space, it’s good enough to protect me from Vidalia onions.
