I’m trying to figure out how to control this atomizer with an arduino nano; I am not really sure if soldering the pins on the button would work how I think it will.

It is powered by the micro-usb on the left, but if I power the module, press the button, un-power it, then power it back on, I have to press the button again for it to work.

Additionally, the button controls two modes. First press is constant power, second press is an on/off PWM (?) type thing, third press is off.

I have a basic understanding of circuits (I have a degree in MechE and did a few courses on ac and dc circuits and microcontrollers) but not the type of stuff I can see here.

Any advice?
