Lift arm / a/c help
Well - at the end (thankfully) of our week things went south. The AC had been on the fritz but worked well till last night. Woke up to a screeching noise sounding like the blower. The fan/cold air isn’t blowing out the vents. Then the leak started (picture). Last weekend I took the case off and cleaned the coils. There’s nowhere to recharge it. Had my cousin who’s an HVAC guy come take a look. It worked fine after we cleaned it up and four days this week - then back to what it was doing before.
This morning as we were packing up the right rear lift arm collapsed. Can’t lift the roof anymore - as shown.
Any thoughts on repairs and/or cost of repairs?
Edit to add: We bought the camper used last year and have gone out around 10 times. It was our foray into the RV life. Last night, before all this happened, we were looking at hard shells to upgrade and make life a bit easier. Is it worth repairing or should we trade it in and use the money towards something else?
The camper is a 2008 Fleetwood Niagara
