I've clocked close to 19000 kms on my CB 350 over the last 2 years. My front brake pads got replaced at around 8000 kms and it has been there for the last 15 months as it is. 10k+ kms after the front brake pads change and it works well and has a good life remaining.

But coming to the rear, I haven't had to change it from the very beginning. It's been 2 years now and the brake bite has reduced and the brake fluid level has almost reached the lower level mark but 3-4 local mechanics keep denying the need to change it, they say it'll run another 3k kms easily. What do I do? Is it normal for the rear brake pads to survive 20k+ kms?
