Urbanism Groups?
Hey everyone, I’ve been getting more interested in urbanism, walkability, transit, mixed-use development, better public spaces, etc., and I’m curious if there are any groups in Pensacola focused on that kind of thing.
Could be advocacy groups, community organizations, planning meetups, bike/pedestrian groups, YIMBY-type organizations, or even just informal gatherings of people interested in improving the city’s urban fabric.
I’d especially love to connect with people interested in:
- walkability/bikeability
- zoning & housing reform
- downtown development
- transit/public infrastructure
- strong towns / new urbanism ideas
- making Pensacola less car-dependent over time
