For the turtles

I didnt pick up the snake skins that were by my truck in the parking lot, and honestly, live life a little more dangerously bud.

Pup in distress

Homeless man keeps leaving this male pup attached to this fence, he stole the dog from another homeless girl and now doesn't want the responsibility. Left the dog to go to church, and this church doesn't bring them back until 5 pm. It's hot out, the dog is stressed out..

He left half hour ago (12:30)

the pound only gives these animals a few days before they're euthanized.. is there anyone who might want this boy?

He's a really good dog.

Fireworks in Pensacola 2026

I felt like they were shooting them off from a different location this year than in years past; you could barely see them from the wahoo stadium or the park at Bruce beach this year. Was that the case for others??

Florida man accused of stealing Smokey Bear signs could face up to 10 years in prison

A Florida man who allegedly thought Smokey Bear signs would make for an easy payday is now facing a much steeper price tag: up to 10 years in federal prison.
----

Pro Tip: There are easier ways to make $1,900 than launching a multijurisdictional crime spree against a beloved public service mascot.

Shoutout to the Pensacola police department for having a grand total of 0 officers directing traffic during and after the fireworks.

Sat on fort Pickens road for 2 hours didn’t move an inch. Certainly one way to make people want to never again come to the beach for 4th of July.

FoodTrucksMove.com has reached 1.0 and is live

153 trucks available to browse, of which 6 truck operators have claimed. I want to pump this number up, but even with so few trucks claimed, there is value to be had - Use the Bucket List feature to create a list of food trucks you want to visit. Use the Crave Wizard to find the meal you're craving right now, and within your specified radius.

Food trucks that have not been claimed but have a schedule are listed - then visit the food truck's social media page to verify the truck's location and head out.

Food trucks that have been claimed will indicate that the food truck operator has personally checked in a their location, and don't need to be validated.

Community spotting is implemented as well - see a food truck nearby? Visit that truck's profile and click "I see this truck right now", your sighting will appear on the map as a community sighting.

About four months of my free time was spend creating this app. I and my wife are using it as we speak to located a July 4th food truck to visit.

Input and feedback is welcome - I find it unlikely that I've configured everything perfectly, or that all the features users would want are implemented here, so hit up the contact form or submit a message to the admin from withing you account to speak your mind.

/r/Pensacola Mod Applications

We're looking for users to help moderate the nightmare that is /r/Pensacola.

It's important to us to maintain the culture/moderation style of the subreddit, so we're going to be pretty selective about who we onboard. With that in mind, we've created a short form to get an idea of how you might view moderating choices.

If you have somehow convinced yourself that being a moderator here is something worth doing, please complete this form: https://forms.gle/UBPdXeG3QwNztvNa9

Sea Turtle Nests

Born and raised on Perdido Key. As a kid, 20 years ago-ish, my mom would somehow know when sea turtle nests were hatching and we would go out with our little red flash lights, where a group of other people would be, and we would watch them dig themselves up and make their way to the water. I have a family member coming to town who shared she would love to experience it. Some googling has led me to believe this isn’t public info. Did it used to be public? Is it really not now? Are we just SOL on sharing this experience? Thanks!

Watch repair shop

I have a old Omega Ladymatic Seamaster watch that will run but stops intermittently. It is a self wind but that doesn't seem to be the problem. Is there a local shop that can take a look at it? Jewelers Trade just ships them off to Omega for $800 and this watch isn't worth that.
