I used to watch Bravo shows like a child who didn’t know why I loved what I was watching. Thru Ben and Ronnie I have developed a more analytical approach to not only the shows but the Genre that is Bravo shows. There is a formula to the episodes and the shows in general, despite the difference that the variety of shows (and production companies) presents.

I now have developed a formula for what makes a successful Bravolebrity whether it be a housewife or a member of Southern Charm or Summerhouse. There are many things that are true in people we want to have in our lives that make them a terrible reality star on a Bravo show. This is why I agree with the guys when I say Carl is boring now and we need him off of our screens. Glad he is healthy and finally getting “more life” now but that is why you are boring on a reality show. So without further ado…. I will present my criteria for a great bravo star and why Lindsey from Summer House/In the City has been for some time now: the top bravo star.

Are they delusional? Lindsey is the perfect level of delusional…
Are they narcissistic? Yuppppp…. She is y’all. Not in a predatory way but for sure!!
Can they give great reads? She can for sure read people for filth… she was doing it 30 minutes into the premiere of In the City.
Do they walk the line between mean and cruel? This trips up most people especially if they check the narcissist and delusional boxes but I think Lindsey walks that line better than most…
Do they give and receive genuine loyalty amongst their cast mates? This can also sink some great bravolebs…. Lindsey does both consistently for years.
Can they leverage their Bravo celebrity status to benefit financially? Every housewife from the dawn of existence has peddled some form of a product be it alcohol, restaurant, political careers or even places where other housewives can get Botox and lip fillers…. Lindsey has owned this space for years. Others have maybe ranked higher than Linds but not for the longevity…. For instance Ariana has rocketed higher, but her example in particular must be considered with the context that she stopped being a bravoleb when she rocketed.

I am happy to hear arguments against this…. It would help if you explained your criteria (which is not a science and does not need to be as ridiculous as mine) but please just consider my arguments.

It is important to note that I have not been a Lindsey fan in the past and she drives me absolutely insane (Ronnie’s voice) and I do not support most of the things she says or feels… but she is an absolute star on this network and I contend that she is top dog…. The “top guy” on the network if you will…. 🤷🏻‍♂️
