New (to me) 2020 Outlander replacement stereo
I just bought a 2020 Outlander SEL with 180K miles. It looks and runs great.
But it came with a aftermarket stereo (Boss Elite BE7ASC). It's OK but lacking SiriusXM so I'd like to replace it with one with SXM and preferably Wireless Android Auto. And of course backup cam (the Boss aftermarket does have that)
When I check on Bestbuy and enter the vehicle info none of the head units show a compatible.
So a couple of questions
Is there a way to tell if the Outlander's original radio had SXM?
Will any double DIN replacement work?
How about steering wheel controls?
Is replacing the head unit fairly easy or would I be better off having it installed?
Any recommendations for a good head unit? (about $500)
