Guidance in planning DS minor with BIO + Mech

I will be starting my 2nd year now with mechanical as my dual.

I am planning to do a DS minor, but since all the courses of the minor (except Optimization as a del under BIO)will be opels, how would I manage that. Kindly guide me on which course to take in which sem, while 3 courses will be in summer term and 1 as a del in bio, I still have to take 1 more course. Also whether I shall take 5 or 6 courses under the minor?

Thoughts about transferring from MSC + mech or eni(most probably) to 4 year MSC maths.

I have a particular interest in mathematics and ai. So instead of studying two degrees which I have 0 interest in, I am thinking of taking a transfer to this branch. And pair it with the dels and opels of cs and math department relevant to ML.

Has anyone done this before and what could be the approximate cg needed for that? And are companies even open for them?, though I have a wish to pursue higher studies.

If any senior has any idea kindly guide me on this.

Doubt about Minors for dualites.

1.Can a dualite take minor courses?

2.What is the criteria for taking the minor courses, is it cgpa based or you can take whatever you like?(Particularly about the Data science or Computing and Intelligence minor)

3.At what time of our degree do we do the minor course?

  1. Is it even a good decision to do a minor, is it feasible with the already heavy curriculum of dualites?

  2. If my B.E. isn't CS or Phoenix, would I be allowed to sit in IT placements if I have a minor in the before mentioned domains?

  3. How much does it cost?

Looking for partners going to start the machine learning course by Andrew NG,(I am gonna start it during my 1st year summer break from 20 May)
