Hi All, hoping someone can help here.

I have a 2018 VW GTI with the matrix LED headlights.
An error has recently come up displaying the below messages:
Error: cornering light (AFS)
Please check left dipped beam headlight

These errors do not come on during the daylight. However, if I go into a covered area / underground carpark / petrol station, the errors will show.

During daylight the lights work perfectly.

On start up at night the headlights do the full sweep and the dipped beam lights work fine too but then after a minutes driving the error shows up and the left dipped beam light fails.

I sent the car to a headlight repair shop and they said they replaced a module and led unit, charged me €600.

As soon as I drove in darkness, the error showed again.
It’s like as if they didn’t touch the car.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
