I bought this old pocket watch for really cheap, and as you can see the bridges and plate are quite dark and tarnished.

Is there a method for getting them looking shiney and new again?.

I just wanted a bigger movement as a break from the smaller watch services and focus on the balance reassembly.

So I just received this old Omega but I cannot get the case back off. I dont want to go much harder and risk damaging the case.

Are there any tips for removing this?

Seems so silly to ask as it should just pop off
