I just finished turnabout big top and I can’t be the only one who found it weird. I get that Regina is cute and all, but the glaze is genuinely insane.
There were multiple times where I’d read dialogue regarding Regina from another character and immediately check the profiles to verify the ages of the characters.
Fine, 21-year-old Max wants to marry her, that’s weird. And the 31 year old ventriloquist who speaks through his puppet wants to marry her as well, that’s pretty fucking weird too. But why does Maya feel compelled to ask her out? Why is Phoenix blushing over this high school sophomore? And why is the fuckass judge bringing up the idea of proposing to her!?
In aware that this was a different time. This is coming from someone who cringes every time Pearl plays matchmaker with Maya and Phoenix, so it’s just my opinion. Overall, it’s not just me, right?
