Trying to figure out and fix the reason for game crashing.
The steam game conquers blade keeps crashing for me. It just closes with no error code and takes me straight to me desktop. I can't figure out the reason. Checking the event viewer the Application hang under windows logs and application says
"The program proven_ground_client.exe version 1.10.3542.62994 stopped interacting with Windows and was closed. To see if more information about the problem is available, check the problem history in the Security and Maintenance control panel."
I've checked the area it describes and it has no further information. My CPU and GPU aren't hitting 100% in task manager during the crash either so I don't think that's the issue. Along with that I've updated my drivers a few times and the issue still persists. The only extra information I have that might help is that the game will use a VB script and I see the warning in the event log but I haven't been able to figure anything out with that I can post that log here additionally if there is a chance it's relevant to the reason for crashing.
To conclude, I'm wondering if there is any reason or fix your able to figure out from my description or if there Is a way to find one out with an application or looking somewhere else.
