Spouse visa

**Hi everyone,**
**I’m completely heartbroken and just need to vent. I am forced to be thousands of miles away from my husband, and the pain of this separation is almost unbearable.**
**I made a huge mistake in the past: in 2025, I overstayed my UK visa by 7 months and left in October. Missing him terribly, I returned just two months later (December 2025) using an ETA that was approved. I stayed until April 2026. I now know that returning so quickly reset my re-entry ban and severely complicated my history.**
**Knowing I have to spend at least a year away from the love of my life because of a past mistake is destroying me. Every day feels like an eternity. We want to do things right now and apply for a Spouse Visa, but my case is very complex and we can't do this alone.**
**Has anyone been through something similar and managed to get a Spouse Visa approved? Can anyone recommend an amazing, OISC-regulated solicitor who specializes in complex overstay cases and human rights?**
**Thank you for listening. I just want to go home to my husband.**

Spouse visa

Hi everyone, I need some advice regarding my UK travel history and future visa.
Here is my situation:
• 1st visit (2024): Stayed for 8 months (before ETA was required).
• 2nd visit: Returned using an ETA and stayed for only 4 months, complying with all immigration rules.
• Current status: I’ve been in a relationship with my husband for 2 years. I’m currently outside the UK and it’s very difficult to be apart from him.
Given that I stayed 8 months on my first trip but strictly followed the rules on my second (shorter) visit, how likely is this previous long stay to affect a future visa application? Has anyone been in a similar situation?
Thanks in advance!

Spouse visa

Hi everyone, I have a question. Has anyone here applied for a UK spouse visa and then traveled to England after the biometrics appointment while the visa was still being processed?

With the new eVisa system, do they let you keep your passport? Was it easy to enter as a visitor while waiting for the decision?

Hi, guys! I'd like to ask a question 😊

My husband and I are planning to move to Ireland. He is British and works in a company in England that also has a branch in Ireland, and received an opportunity to transfer there.

Since I am Brazilian and the wife of a British citizen, what is the procedure so that I can go with him and live legally in Ireland?

I really appreciate any guidance! 🙏
