I’m building Nabad, a new community app inspired by the feeling Amino used to have — looking for feedback

Hi everyone,

My name is Wisam. I’m 24 years old, originally from Syria, and I’ve been living in Germany for 12 years.

I’m currently building a new community app called Nabd.

The idea behind Nabad is to create a modern community space where people can build profiles, join communities, post updates, chat, share ideas, and connect with others in different languages.

I grew up around online communities, and I always liked the feeling of apps where people could find a place for their interests, their language, and their identity. That is the feeling I want to bring back, but with a cleaner, more modern design and a community-first direction.

This is still in development, but I’m working on it step by step. Today I’m sharing some early screenshots from inside the app.

What I’m building right now:

User profiles

Community pages

Chat and social features

Wall/profile posts

Multilingual community support

A Discord server for updates, feedback, and beta testers

A support and bug-report system

I’m not a big company. I’m just one person trying to turn this idea into something real and useful. I’m learning, building, fixing, improving, and trying to create something people would actually enjoy using.

I would really appreciate feedback from people who understand community apps.

What do you think of the idea and the early look?

If you want to follow the project, updates are shared in the official Nabad Discord. I’ll leave more info in the comments.

Thank you for reading.
