Unpopular opinion: Daria doesn't realize how great of a family and home she has

Usually when I leave my body, I'm touching everything around me - walls, tables etc. Usually, vision will kick in when I'm a few meters from my body. However, sometimes it doesn't. I've found a strong correlation between frequent sexual energy release, and blind low quality OBEs.
I believe this all comes down to awareness. Certain habits in our daily lives, especially bad ones, seem to dull us down energetically - even excessive screen time.
Does anyone know any ways to increase our awareness?
Let's say the moment you leave your body, someone in your house is in the kitchen making breakfast (in the physical). However, in the astral, they may be in their bedroom and interact with you like a dream character, or they might not be in the house at all.
From my understanding, the astral can be in a different time period - often things look a little different, such as furniture arranged differently.
So how do you access what's happening in the physical in the present moment? If you're interested in 'pulling someone out of their body' you'd expect to see them laying there asleep where their physical body is.
(By the way, when I leave the body, I experience sleep paralysis, reach with my hand until I detach from the body, feeling the surroundings until my vision appears.)
I've noticed anytime I go to bed with a thought like 'man, it's been a while since I last lucid dreamed; it would be nice to have one' - more often than not, I'll end up becoming lucid naturally without doing anything that night.
So for those who have never lucid dreamed, or do so very infrequently, I've found this to allow at least a weekly lucid experience.
I have heard from others that they have seen the infamous tunnel of white light, pretty much seen in every NDE account, after leaving their body. Supposedly, the matrix doesn't know whether someone has left their body because they died, or whether they left it through astral projection while alive. I personally haven't seen the light, but I was wondering if any of you have.
