For context, I’m 23. My hearing loss is bilateral moderately severe sensorineural hearing loss. Mostly in the high frequencies. My audiologist suggests I get top of the line to protect the hearing I have and thankfully my family has said they will help me secure some with a budget of 5k. My options are between star key or perhaps if there’s a good OTC brand you guys know of.

I keep trying to google and Reddit but it’s a little overwhelming as I don’t really know what all the brands mean.

Oh also horrible timing because I’m going to my first concert next month and I need super good plugs. It’s my favorite band but the audiologist scared me so bad I considered skipping.
