Stuck on transfer from skilled care and need advice

I'm stuck and need help on these two items, can anyone offer some guidance? He was at a different skilled care facility that didnt treat him well which destroyed his kidney and the toxins caused a severe mental decline. He was rehospitalized and then sent to a different facility but with his current condition insurance cut off skilled care for his room and we have switched to hospice.

His living will says no artificial nutrition long-term, but he currently has a tube going into his stomach feeding him liquid nutrition—should this be stopped now that he is transitioning to hospice? I get that it would speed things up but I'm stuck if long term means more like if he was in a coma. They did stop his dialysis for kidney failure so i dont know if I should stop this as well.

As the skilled care insurance was cut off it is a $15,000/month private pay bill (though he does have the funds to last over a year there if needed). I'm trying to decide if it's better to keep him here or move him given his kidney failure and severe mental decline. Recently he has had combative behavior (he choked a nurse, though they now have him on different meds) will impact our ability to transfer him.

Phone Broken While at Hospital

Location: Michigan

My Dad is in the hospital and had his phone broken while transporting him to a procedure. When it was found it was under the bed and ran over bent into a J shape. When he came to his charger, cord, and a couple other items were missing from the room. From the damage its nothing he could do as he is too weak. Would the hospital be responsible for the broken phone or the other missing items?

Would switching to nest doorbell be good for a rental?

I'm renting and looking at the Nest Doorbell (Battery). The condo allows for some modifications but trying to keep things simple for now. Rather have the cloud storage as i have a NAS but no where to secure it.

- How do no drill anti-theft door clamps hold up?

- What's your real-world battery life between charges?

- My current setup is Alexa, Govee, and Roku. Does Nest play nice with them? Or do i need to switch to google products?

- I have the Google AI Pro plan, which includes the basic Nest plan. Anyone have any experience here and is it 24/7 history or just events?

Best doorbell cam with cloud storage?

Renting my place so I can't do any wiring or PoE. I need a solid battery powered video doorbell.

The main thing is it has to upload to the cloud. I actually have a synology NAS, but it's not locked up in a rack. If someone breaks in, they can easily just steal/break the NAS. I’m fine paying a monthly subscription if the app is fast and reliable.

Is Ring or Nest still the best bet for this, or is there a better brand I should look at? I saw for Nest if you have the Google AI subscription it comes with the basic Nest plan.
