2 week update Clomi

Hey guys. So it’s about my second week on Clomi. I went on 20mg of Clomi instead of 25mg(full pill). I have a scale and empty some of it out. So my H is a little worse but better at some frequencies, it’s a little hard to explain. I’m not expecting my H to totally improve until weeks later. My TTTS has actually gotten worse. I wonder if Clomi at the start shocks your whole system at the start and makes your hearing more sharp idk and makes your ears more keen to sounds. Now for tinnitus…The first few days was bad. It spikes it up pretty bad. I was pretty scared. I continued and now it’s actually lower than baseline which is very bizarre. It’s now more of a low generator hiss with tiny background metallic tone faintly in the background. Sadly I can’t truly enjoy this low Tinnius because my reactive T is 10/10. So any sounds or being in an environment of sounds turns into a loud metallic tinnitus and stays there for 20 mins. I guess it’s a mix of reactive T and dysacusis. I’m hopeful to get better. The main thing is to be positive and protect when needed. That’s the hard part. I want to say thanks to all the H vets for the advice yall still give me. Please continue to have me in your prayers. I start work next week and have no idea how it’s gonna go since I can barely speak without my ttts going crazy in my ears haha. Also the nausea went away, my heart rate went up slightly, and the Visual snow again is actually more calm in a weird way. Idk how. It’s still there but not as in ur face. I don’t have nox, just slightly some jaw and ear ache/fullness from sounds. And all the pooping and clicking when swallowing. Very annoying. In the past when my H got better all the pops and ttts vanished. So I know this is just part of the ride. The ttts is one of my more hated symptom.

Clomi Tinnitus Spike

Hey guys. So my started Clomi again I’m at 25mg. It’s been almost a week. Man the tinnitus changed into a very loud hiss. So far it sadly hasn’t backed down like it usually does. I’m asking for prayers and encouragement. H has actually improved shockingly. I hope to continue but man this spike is very bad and not run with my reactivity. It’s like a reactive hiss twice as loud as my baseline. Any more positive stories are welcomed. - Rich

Hey H friends. Man… I took my first dose of 25mg on Clomi last night. Wow it hit hard. I was thinking if y’all want like a mini video series of the journey. Tbh it’s weird how this time around the Clomi hit harder first dose(I took it years ago). So far increased T but it perceived quieter in my brain. It’s really hard to explain. Reactive T the same for the most part. Extremely nauseous and feels like you’re not in your own reality at times. H is not changed yet. More MEM sadly and weirdly. VSS changed but not worsen, it’s hard to explain. But ya it’s day one. Tbh I wish they made doses more small for ppl in the US. So far I can still talk(last time I was homebound). I’d say I’m mild. The TTTs is 8/10 this go around. Last time it was 10/10. No pain this time around other than deep ache in both ears at random times with random sounds. It’s like each ear has its own mind and tolerances. The H is a 6/10. I pray I can continue the spaced out feeling it’s 9/10. Pray for me guys love you guys. -Rich

Hello Everyone. Some of you remember me from a few years ago. I was one of the ppl who
Tried Clomi for my H. I improved over 3-4 month on Clomi but had to stop due to my heart beating like crazy at higher doeses(150-175). At the time my visual snow didn’t really change other then maybe some random tiny blue dot would appear and disappear. I did get some musical ear(I heard leaf blowers at night lol). I had ttts slightly improve. I only had mild pain and ear fullness, and couldn’t tolerate a single sound. But all in all I improved and wasn’t homebound for a little over a year.

So why I’m back. Welp…. I got H again. I’m not entirely sure. Could be from a few things. Extreme stress, eating very crunchy foods, and a quick dentist appointment(but they didn’t drill or use any loud instruments because I ask them not too.) All of these things happened in a week so I guess it added up. My T spikes and boom the fear of it
Caused my H to return. A lesson… do not fear your T! Stop listening to it. I fell for it and was overly analyzing it. Anyways, I woke up and I knew something was different. I could feel a weird sensation in my ears and I knew what this was like before so I knew I was in the pre-stages of H. So ya extreme anxiety settled in and now certain sounds are bothering me and spiking my T a lot. Darn. Soooo I guess I have to start Clomi again. I definitely don’t want to. I want to try B3(the flushing kind) first for a little. I keep hearing positive improvements from a few here who used it for T and H. Love you guys so much. I know how it feels to be homebound and it’s not fun. I’m always hopeful. Good luck to everyone. - Rich
