Cooling vests

I’m seeing ads for dog cooling vests that you wet and are supposed to keep dogs cool for an hour. Has anyone here used something like that! I’m super cautious with my dog who loves to run, but we keep it shorter and extra early in the summer. Dog tax below of her begging to go out.

Trail running recs

Just signed up for a 14 mile race at 10k elevation. I need to get in some altitude training and want to stay in Albuquerque/east mountains. Would love any recommendations for things that get over 6500 ft and are decent to run.
