4 night trip recommendations

Hi! I’m trying to plan a unique and semi budget friendly trip for my 30th birthday. There will be 6 of use traveling mid February from Seattle. Experiencing wildlife is top priority, then food, swimming/beaches, and some nightlife or live music preferably? I was initially looking into Mexico but I’m getting very overwhelmed with recommendations being overly touristy, considering safety, expensive, etc. Is it reasonably to travel for only 4 nights? It seems like I’d be more interesting in the MA area but I’m concerned about getting around and dealing with logistics..

Mexico recommendations for short trip?

I’m trying to plan a trip to Mexico for my 30th birthday and to celebrate finishing my masters. There will be about 6 people, going mid February for 4 nights. Prefer to stay in an airBnB. I’ve only been to Mexico once and it was an incredibly lackluster trip (Margaritaville in Cancun). I’m looking for easy (ish) beach access, authentic food, nature, some nightlife. We are all around the same age and enjoy hiking, wildlife, dining, and music. I know everyone is probably looking for the same type of experience… trying to avoid mass tourism, high prices, and inauthenticity. Or if you have other recommendations outside of Mexico, please share! Budget and timing is a constraint so I figured Mexico would be the best option for a quick beach vibe from Seattle.
