Breitling is the clapped out chrome Chrysler of our day

Where do I start….maybe with a story.

I went to a Rolex AD to get bent over as usual - and was walking around checking out IWC, Cartier, Tudor etc. etc. - and out of the corner of my eye, something shiny blinded me.

As I approach the Breitling display case - I am inundated with hideous oversize shiny polished monstrosities of overpriced watches. Not one good looking piece in the collection. For a brand that tries to do the whole luxury Swiss “tool watch” thing - why the F do they insist on shiny polished finished everywhere on their watches.

Even the freaking navitimer is like a mirror. Speaking of the navitimer - it has to be one of the worst Chronograhs - super busy face with 2 pt. font - idk how anyone can catch anything at a glance.

Last gripe - the god awful rider tabs on Breitlings chronomat / avenger watches - guaranteed to get scratched to hell, and ruins what could have been the low hanging fruit of aesthetics (a decent ceramic bezel)

In a nutshell….Breitling sucks.

Edit: this just came to me - THEY LOOK LIKE INVICTAS (often even worse)
