I’ve just bought my first Brompton through a salary sacrifice scheme and am currently waiting for delivery—very excited!
I’m looking to get a café lock for use at work & while at a pub/cafe etc, mainly to deter opportunistic theft. I’ll be keeping the bike in my office/close to me, so it doesn’t need to be a heavy-duty lock.
At the moment I’m considering either the Hiplok FX or the Hiplok Z Lok. Does anyone have experience with either of these? Which would you recommend? Perhaps the latter is too short?

Weird whistling noise around oriental place every night?
Anyone else hearing this? Sounds like a distant whistle/siren and happens pretty much every night for a limited period of time. Very regular, louder with the windows open. I’m near oriental place. Curious what it actually is. foghorn coming from the harbour or sea???
