Towing

I’m considering switching from a Ram 1500 to a Colorado. I don’t tow stuff very often but still somewhat concerned about losing the capability.

Any feedback to share regarding towing experiences on the new 2026?

Edit:
As far as what I tow. It can vary, typically rental equipment like tractor, stump grinder etc.

I don’t have my boat anymore which was the initial reason for the 1500.

Decisions Decisions

I have a 2018 ram big horn with the hemi. It has just around 123k miles.

The rockers have rust holes in them that just appeared in the last few months.

Roughly 8 months ago the starter had to be replaced, then this month the starter went again leaving me stranded.

I had the starter replaced again and now I am faced with some power steering problems where I’m told it’s a roughly 2500 fix to replace the rack and pinion.

I am torn if I should just call it quits and go for something new.

I got a 66msrp vehicle down to around 57 but it’s still more than I want to spend right now but part of me worries if all these problems are just symptoms of a larger issue. Any ideas as to what that issue might be or is this just a bad timing.
