I’m on a trip and can’t figure why we can’t have this truck with these gas prices

I’m currently traveling around Guatemala and noticed these little Ram trucks, and with these gas prices I wish I could bring one of these to the US but unfortunately it doesn’t meet the DOT and EPA regulations

Is E-Torque Dead?

Ram unveiled the 1500 RumbleBee today and a few people have posted from the PR event. One in particular being TK's Garage in which they are talking about the 5.7 RumbleBee. If you watch the interaction you hear:

"One Battery ... TK it has one battery ... You may see more of that." - Tim Kuniskis

Most of the press has not covered this interaction, but could be huge for what is to come on the horizon for Ram. Is this a sign that soon, maybe in 2027, we will see Ram sell the 1500 Lineup with trucks that can be equipped with the 5.7 engine, without E-torque? Curious to hear your thoughts ...

2027 Ram 1500 Rumble Bee Street Trucks Make the V-8 Great Again

The 2027 Ram 1500 Rumble Bee family features three distinct V-8 engines: a 395-hp 5.7-liter, a 470-hp 6.4-liter, and a 777-hp supercharged 6.2-liter. Along with wider body panels from the RHO and TRX, all these street-oriented trucks have a tidier quad-cab, short-bed configuration that brings a shrunken wheelbase. The regular Rumble Bee will go on sale later this year, with the 392 and SRT arriving in early 2027; we bet the Hellcat-powered pickup will clear the six-figure price point.

Lubricant Shortage

What are your thoughts on the Lubricant shortage? 🚜 A 40% shortage of Lubricants, higher prices etc. In the near future. Could last for a year.

Some of you are probably upset about this...

This Cummins powered 4x4 gen 1 was sitting in my yard for too long. This seemed the fastest way to get it gone once the 5.9 was removed. Maybe it helps that there's a 2wd dually 360 in the lower left, 5.9 safely loaded up.

Installed RB30 Running boards today.

Took about two hours. Though part of that time was deciphering what hardware was actually for the boards I installed. I guess rhino just sends all the directions and hardware for all the different variants... Not cool. Also directions were just photocopied or printed and obviously the box was left in the rain somewhere.

I'm happy with the looks and functionality for now. What do you all think?

Idle Time concern in Carvana return window…?

Full disclosure, I’ve had at least 7 different trucks over my lifetime and I’ve never heard of “idle time” when I went to buy used. Well, I just bought a 2023 ram 1500 gasser crew cab 4x4 and the idle hours total is…like 60% of the total hours. I purchased from Carvana and I’m well within my “return window “, so I can still “adjust” my purchase, but it literally checks all the boxes…besides the ungodly idle hours. I’m taking it in to get a pre purchase inspection tomorrow morning, so I can at least get a clean bill of health/peace of mind there…but reddits always the truth heh. Am I making too big a deal about it, or should I exchange it, pay a few grand more and get a lower idle version that may not have the features I want (tow package being the biggest)

IS MY LEVEL KIT RUINING MY FRONT END??

Hi. I bought my 2017 big horn with 68k now has 110k (i like to finally be able to say i have a "big horn") in 2021 it came with a rough country level kit and offroad rear shocks and springs and sits on 35/12.5r22.
Since purchase i have Replaced

*cv axels 3x (torn boots)

*front diff

*front wheel bearings

*steering rack.

the rear end sags a little now.

IS the level kit causing so many issues? Is there anything else that could be leading to this? Can this truck be saved by returning to stock suspension? or is there upgraded suspension parts that can be installed to return the suspension to near stock geometry.
My question here is, IS it possible to return to stock suspension? i have my doubts

Forgive my ignorance. Im an electrician, a shockingly bad one and not a mechanic. Pic is after a wasted of oxygen hit and run me.

Finally Upgraded from a 2025 Bighorn to an RHO

Was inbetween an older TRX with an extended warranty and a new RHO. Figured I could always add a tune and downpipes, so far I’m loving everything about it. It’s an amazing daily!
