I need a set of running boards for my “new to me” truck. Been looking around and these prices for some are nuts. I know everyone swears by amp research steps but it seems like more stuff to go wrong later. Trying to decide between chrome or black textured/bedliner finish. I really love the chrome on red look but feeling like chrome boards would be too much.. idk share some pics of what you guys have.
Looking at getting into another silverado. I have 30k to spend on one. Any less is obviously better. I am trying to find something 2016 and newer with decent mileage on it (under 120k). My luck is kind of running dry on that though. Ill either find a sub 100k mile truck but its salvage title. Or ill find a newer fully loaded truck that has 200k on it...
I am trying to get the best truck I can find for the money. I want a truck with the 6.2 motor in it for more power and towing capabilities in the future when that time comes. What year truck would you guys OVERALL recommend I look more into or at for reliability purposes?
I would also like to hear any issues you guys had personally or any "every one will have this problem, just watch out" type issues as well...
On facetime constantly and watching tiktoks and other videos etc and it NEVER fails the audio eventually glitches and makes the facetime audio either max volume or near muted.. ive done the apple music trick or opening a video to get the volume control back, but it messes up shortly after. This has been an issue for YEARS because ive found older threads 5 yrs old now with no fix… how hard is it with all the features we have to add a volume control for facetime and videos…
Want to keep all the stock stuff as far as wiring I just want to upgrade the door speakers to something better and add some sound deadening to the doors for more bass and sound. I am going to buy the plug in adapters and rings too. Is it as simple as changing the speakers out or is there some trickery to it on these cars?
The hose nor the angle end on the m18 2 gallon hose fits the green adapter. What did you guys use to make it work? Have to order another end or what for the M18 hose?
Looking into getting another truck soon and been on the hunt for a good diesel truck for the amount I want to spend. I got 30k to safely spend on one. Obviously going to be something used with some decent mileage on it for that much. Ive been doing some research on every brand. As with anything you find people who never have any issues and some who have nothing but issues, so I am not getting much help on whats reliable or what issues the newer trucks have.
I was looking at some 2014-17 ram 2500s or the 2019 ram 2500. I found one that was local but its a long bed and has 150k on it. Not in the market for a long bed but based off research those years of ram's are very good trucks?

Was looking online for a solid wooden bed frame. I bought a amazon one with drawer storage last year and I want something better. Its one with the drawers and such for storage that roll under it. I don't use them and the metal slats squeak like a mofo.
I found off here that KD FRAMES platform beds are VERY good for the money and solid wood and people SWEAR by them. Only thing I am not a fan of with their frames is they only have 2 headboard selections... but I can get over that... I want something that will last and be sturdy.
As far as mattresses go, I need a queen size. I have been all over amazon and online and everyone as usual swears their beds better than the next, etc. I start reading reviews and it goes downhill from there for most. I was planning on doing a rolled bed in a box from somewhere. I just have no idea what to look for. I don't exactly know what firmness I want, because the bed I have now is roughly 10 years old and no name tag on it. I know I do want memory foam though.
Any help would be appreciated. Trying to pull the trigger on a bed set soon.

My friends list has always been messed up where it won't show me but like 4 people who are online on my friends list in game. I have my main people I play with favorited but they dont show up as online on my list unless i scroll way down to them.
Was under the car and noticed coming down from the APR elbow, oil had been dripping over time. Been a few thousand since I checked it anyways. But it was on the dogbone bolts and mount as well as Im guessing the coolant hoses off the back of the motor.. Last year APR warrantied the elbow and seal since it leaked like a month after install. I love the intake but have heard no other elbows will work? Any actual permanent fixes? Ive seen people get rid of the leak by adding a catch can kit vs the PCV dumping into the intake like it does.. but Ive heard other say the MK8s PCV system is really good and doesn't need one... so a toss up?
Ive had this intercooler sitting for a year now cause i got it on sale. I wasnt ready to install it because i was still putting some miles on the car as is from stock. Ive got everything besides the intercooler and downpipe installed than its time to flash stage 2 034 ECU/TCU tunes for some actual fun.
Help me work the courage up to install this thing. Just the thought of tearing a basically brand new car with 3700 miles on it apart kinda scares me as I am worried stuff won't line back up like it is or im going to scratch the bumper or fenders tearing it down. I have all the right tools as well...
Any bolts or anything i should pick up that has to be replaced? I know lots of bolts are TTY bolts but i see loads of people reusing bolts like for the whole crash bar assembly. I watched the BMP video on it and it seems like a shit ton of work by myself..
saw this truck randomly for sale driving around and since im looking for a truck, i stopped to look at it. only got to look at it on the outside and peak in the windows. looked very clean for its age. said it was owned by a diesel mechanic and meticulously maintained (fuel filters/oil/transmission/dif service on time). has a 5th wheel installed as well. everything is stock on it.
if i chose to look further into it, would this truck be worth its asking price with that mileage? Anything i should look for or at and make sure its been done? Any major (motor/transmission/etc) issues i should worry about overall? Are these solid trucks from an owner standpoint if they have been maintained correctly?

I died right when level 10 rolled over and it never gave me my x2 damage so I went to 30+ and it only gave me x2 damage. So I went and left a bunch of games and it won't reset back to 0 level so i can completely restart. It even said mission failed and wipe everything. Its stuck at level 10. What to do?
4 ton goodman. Delta between S/R was 17-18ish. This was at 62-63 outside. Inside was 78. Readings came up while i was there to 10 sh and 10-11 sc. 125-130ish suction and 270-280ish liquid. i stood there for an hour and it looked the same. Never froze up. Wait a day or so and it freezes up again. Compressor was pulling 24 total amps.
Apparently IEs pro core downpipe can be used with either stage tune they offer. I don't need stage 2 since the car is just my daily. I wanted to run a catted CTS downpipe with IEs stage 1 93 tune. Why can IE's downpipe work with either stage and its catted, but another brands catted downpipe wont? Im also only doing stage 1 cause I don't want to tear my entire car apart to add an intercooler yet.
Anyone else running into this issue of having to restart your pc for the app to launch? been happening for a week now...
