Double XP weekend is coming to Black Ops 7 starting October 6th. It appears this will be for level XP, weapon XP, battlepass XP and gobblegum rates

This is most likely the last double XP weekend for Black Ops 7 before the release of Modern Warfare 4, which launches October 23rd

To impose the upcoming MW4 matchmaking onto BO7, which imo is one of the best (if not the best) Black Ops title we’ve had, by rugpulling everyone … is such a slap in the face to both the developers at Treyarch and most importantly the playerbase.

I understand they need to protect casual players to keep their player count as high as possible, but this is not the way to treat your playerbase. Even if at the end of the day it is a business, making such drastic changes like this that screw over a lot of people from one day to the next is how you drive people like myself away from the franchise.

Because of this poor executive decisionmaking, I will not be buying MW4. I will be staying on BO7 and/or playing other titles while MW4 runs its course.

Thankfully, Zombies has remained immune to horrible executive decisions because it’s a PvE that doesn’t need manipulation of the playerbase. And Treyarch has really knocked it out of the park with Zombies these past 2 years 🙏🏼
