To impose the upcoming MW4 matchmaking onto BO7, which imo is one of the best (if not the best) Black Ops title we’ve had, by rugpulling everyone … is such a slap in the face to both the developers at Treyarch and most importantly the playerbase.

I understand they need to protect casual players to keep their player count as high as possible, but this is not the way to treat your playerbase. Even if at the end of the day it is a business, making such drastic changes like this that screw over a lot of people from one day to the next is how you drive people like myself away from the franchise.

Because of this poor executive decisionmaking, I will not be buying MW4. I will be staying on BO7 and/or playing other titles while MW4 runs its course.

Thankfully, Zombies has remained immune to horrible executive decisions because it’s a PvE that doesn’t need manipulation of the playerbase. And Treyarch has really knocked it out of the park with Zombies these past 2 years 🙏🏼

Since a lot of people couldn’t wrap their heads around how I reached Crim with such low stats, I made a 1 minute video of what a winning Overload game looks like with a well-rounded team of randoms.

Clip 1: Switched to hard-Defense role after respawning and got the clutch defense kill, preventing the enemy from scoring at our A goal. Then switched to Support role for teammate carrying ball. (Eventually got the score on that run, but this isn’t shown).

Clip 2: On second round, blitzed towards ball, recognized the 3 dead and immediately blitzed towards B goal for the quick score.

Clip 3: Stayed near ball without grabbing until I knew teammate had cleared at least 2 enemies at their spawn, then grabbed ball and blitzed A goal. Stayed near (but outside of) their spawn for the spawn trap to grab a couple kills and allow teammate to score Goal 7 behind me. Tried blitzing Goal 8 without defenders just to end the game but died (as expected) and just ended up helping teammate carry the last goal in Clip 4 to finish off the game.

This is to show that you can reach higher ranks like Crimson in other ways that don’t really show in your combat record. What matters is knowing your role in in which games. Not all games will look the same, especially as a solo player who is objective-oriented. Some games I do top-frag in Search with the most kills because I was aggressive all game, and other Search games I top frag by being careful and sitting back to defend. I reached Crim with my own play style, which mostly relied on making reads and play IQ, versus just getting a high kill count and winning by sheer map dominance.

Funny side note: I played Free For All against my teammate for 4 games in a row before this. We warmed up in FFA and just so happened to end up on the same Ranked team (this game shown) immediately after lol small world

Diamond 1 lobby btw, for those who insist that Diamond players or lower rank players don’t cheat (“especially this late in the season”)

Need the Maya skin but I suck at doing EE’s. I can hold my own throughout the map, just need someone to do all the steps.

As we already know, this new SBMM that was forced onto us has made this game extremely sweaty.

This game is starting to feel like a chore to play.

At this point, pubs is more stressful to play than Ranked because there are 12 players on the field compared to 8 in Ranked, and with no respawn delay, so it’s constant chaos.

In some games to get the win, I have to give so many callouts that I feel like an auctioneer 🫩

This is getting exhausting already…

SBMM is now insane.

They didn’t nerf the M10 Breacher from sniping people literally across the map.

Oh but hey, they changed the Ammo Pack ping icon and they changed the font in your notifications 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 /s

Did this thing get buffed, or are these nerds now just switching to the “shotgun meta”?

Stg within these last few days I’ve been getting beamed by this shotgun halfway across the map like the pre-nerf SG-12 and everyone seems to be using it now. The one-shot range on this thing doesn’t make sense given how close-quarters a lot of the maps on this game are.

It’s just crazy how Treyarch cannot get things right when it comes to balancing their guns. Like why am I being sniped by a pump-action now 🤦🏻‍♂️
