I been saying this for years and donât think I have had one person say itâs a bad idea but cod devs will never do it. Imagine a cod game built around being competitive. A cod game the cdl could stay on for years. It could be free to play with input based matchmaking.
Iâm not saying make a tac shooter like Val / cs but copy the competitive nature of how itâs built and maintained. I honestly think it could bring a lot of people in to cod comp. I truly donât see how this wouldnât be possible. I just donât think they will ever do it because they would be scared of low player numbers.
Iâve lost 400 sr from yesterday and today just from my internet lagging and kicking me off the game and Iâm getting penalized for it. Today i played a match with randoms hardpoint on den no communication but we just managed to clutch the win with around 70ish score difference so i took the role of rotating and keeping spawns which means less kills and less obj time i ended up with 32 kills at 1.7 kd and 35s on point placed at 3rd on my team while first 2 has 100+s and high 30 to 40 kills keep in mind that the point was never empty i jump in when i see things are out of my teammates control i never gave a spawn not once nor did i challenge a hill alone i will be just waiting for my team and clear the point together then going back to spawns or rotate immediately so what really made me ask this question is the guys on my team they just open their mics started cursing at me for not being on point and how we couldâve won way faster
so who is the wrong here I curious to know your opinion
Diamond players shouldnât be able to play in Gold lobbies and of.
Plat lobbies I understand, but Iâm gold 3 and constantly put into games vs diamond players who are WAY above our teams skill.
Itâs like putting plats against crims (I know itâs not possible).
It kills the fun because you know youâre just gonna get farmed.
Why is this even aloud.. like seriously my first year of ranked and might be my last the matchmaking system is absolutely fucking awful

Anyone getting disconnected from call of duty servers more often today? Itâs not my internet. I have great fiber. Ive never ran into this issue before. Iâve lost 80 SR today alone from disconnects. So much for D3 for me
So I stopped playing ranked after like the first week. I tried to play every now and then and just crashed out honestly. My experience was not great, and I know im not the greatest (30 with a full time job lol), but it didnt feel... legit.
So i hopped on today for the first time in months, and im on a 6 game win streak. The teams feel balanced, and the gameplay is competitive.
Is this just some sort of trick to manipulate me into playing more, until they place me in the wild lobbies? đ like is there some sort of difference in matchmaking as a returning player?
Absolute gimp was crim with about 35% aim on mpc. Cunt was paired up with 2 plats boosting them. Sure i could say exploiting but activision will just assume theyâre having a good game if theyâre simply outplaying us, regardless of bros 10+ streak
For the first time since MW2 Season 2, we finally got some indirect info about ranked percentages again. Back in MW2 they showed the full rank distribution chart, and now Treyarch Associate Director of Design Lawrence Metten mentioned Crimson is top 10% and Iridescent is top 2%.
Maybe a billion-dollar company can finally show full BO7 Season 3 and Warzone Season 3 rank distribution charts before Ranked Series starts.
My goal was to reach platinum before the end of the season. Been grinding all season solo and finally did it. đ
