Idk what they did with the matchmaking but good god is it awful

So, now they’ve banned 70000 cheaters and the cheaters are more prevalent than ever…

Ranked has also started to lag, every 1 minute ish, for about 10 seconds the game completely freezes for everyone.

How can a game so popular, for 20 years, be so shit.

I always thought that Hacienda was one of the best maps in ranked, but people just keep vetoing it... I have played it maybe 3 times this season out of +130 matches.

I've been playing for 3 seasons and this one is by far the worst in terms of in game lag

Idk if it's the servers or I'm getting ddos but it's been quite a few games where my character freezes and slides everywhere and when it's back to normal I happen to be dead

Also I've played like 5 hard points where connection would conveniently go off when the enemy has hill, meaning that despite my team doing better in terms of kills they had way more score. Sometimes I think it's my internet but that was happening to my whole team and it's extremely frustrating

Have you guys been experiencing this as well? I kinda want to think ddos is not a thing

So I hit diamond 2 this season. (career hardstuck plat started playing in bo6)

Even while in plat I came across bad diamonds who were garbage, and diamonds who made me question if I would ever reach diamond. My question is, are diamonds really THIS good or are there like a ton of prior iris in diamond still? Cause like.. my lord the levels of sweat is unreal. Am I tripping?

This Modern Warfare 4 beta will not only feature multiplayer, but also a taste of the single player campaign as well.

You must then login/create an Activision account, if you don’t already have one.

Then you are the problem (and likely have the mindset of a plat- player). Prove me wrong.

Sick of every hardpoint match people bickering "Oh I have more time, you suck! It must be your fault then". Toxic for 1, ignorant for 2. It's a team game, not a race for who (individually) can sit on time the longest.

The main reason people complain about the change (besides teammates) seems to be the fact that they had a much easier time in previous seasons. This is evident as pretty much every game, a half decent player gets hackusated in gold-diamond lobbies. Even in crim lobbies more often than they used to lol. I'm crim 3 and have legitimately come across significantly less blatant-enough cheaters for me to notice than in previous seasons. While they obviously need to do more to prevent cheating, not every plat lobby you queue into has a cheater in it lol.

It was probably a bad call to roll this update out mid-season after a season where everyone and their childhood Dobermnann could reach any rank they wanted as long as they played enough. Egos being at an all time high makes swallowing the bitter pill of "maybe i don't belong in the rank i thought i did" difficult, so people default to thinking everyone's hacking as they've never come across players as good as they're up against now.

It would've been better to roll this change out alongside a rank reset. I imagine getting belt long enough to drop all the way from, say, diamond to gold would make any sane person stop playing the game.

They do need to do a better job at balancing teams, but i'd wager having teammates go double negative every game is gonna stabilize as people get to where they truly belong (which wouldn't be a problem had this change rolled out during a reset). I hope the devs don't revert the changes made before we have more data on how it's all gonna shake out. Ranked is supposed to be sweaty and a true test of skill, which i think the current system has the potential of being.

Maybe add a casual CDL 8s playlist with MMR for people who just wanna play 4v4 COD with CDL rules, idk how this doesn't exist yet lol.

I finally hit Crimson, even with the hidden MMR adjustment. This was my goal and now that I hit it, I may try to push for Iri. All I do is solo queue, but when I find the rare teammate with comms, we squad up and hopefully find a third who also has comms.

I'm just some regular joe bloe who works all day and comes home to grind his favorite game.

The hidden MMR removal definitely made the game a lot more difficult and I had to adjust to a more aggressive playstyle. I used to play slowly and tactically and only put up a few kills per game, but in order to come out positive I've just been stacking with randos and pushing POIs like crazy. Its honestly made me a better player and while I suffered at first, I'm alot more confident in my skill as a player.

For those who are struggling with this new update, my only advice is play a lot and be aggresive. You can't rely on placement to get you to Crimson, and the only way to get better is by losing fights and learning why.

Je suis habituellement classé crimson. Par saison, j’ai un kd moyen 1,50/1,60 , et kd victoire défaites moyen 1,40

Depuis le début de la saison 5, je me fais ROULER dessus. Mais vraiment. Je gagne 1 fight sur 4, les balles des adversaires me TRACKENT comme pas possible. Je me fais littéralement défoncer à chaque duel. Chose qui n’était pas le cas lors des saisons précédentes

Alors je me demandais, vous, joueurs manettes, auriez vous remarqué un buff de l’aim assist? Ou quelconque changement?

Ou simplement suis-je devenu complètement nul du jour au lendemain?
