Should Shear Revival American Gardens come with a scoop already taken out of it?

Thanks to everyone who suggested American gardens. It’s my first day trying this product and it has worked perfectly. I am concerned though as when I opened the jar it seems like a good size scoop has already been taken out of it. Is this normal with shear revival?

Can’t Find the Right Product for This Style

For some context, I have the correct hair type and cut for this look, but struggle to find a product that can give me this kind of style for longer than an hour or two.

I have straight, dense but fine hair.

I have tried:
Lodestar Rio
Kevin Murphy Free Hold
America Crew Clay
FlowBros pomade
Blind Barber Hair Clay
Old Spice Classic Pomade
Based Pomade
Reuzel Severed Head
Dry Lift

I have tried these products alongside sea salt spray and a variety of blow drying techniques.

So far lodestar Rio has gotten me the closest to this, but at best it only makes my hair stay like this for maximum of one hour before my hair falls out and just flops to the side or in front of my face.

My main issue with Rio is that it makes my hair feel dry and sticky, and weights it down way too much. And if I use more product to increase the hold, the hair looks super greasy and weighed down.

Does anyone have any advice for some other products I should try to get this look? I feel like I’m so close to achieving this style consistently but just need to find the correct product.

Thanks!
