Hi, will arrive Taichung next Wednesday and will proceed to Alishan 2 days after. Wondering how’s the weather in Alishan at night and early morning. Will spend 1 night at the Alishan hotel. Will a windbreaker be enough, since it’s summer in Taiwan. Have heard weather in Taiwan will be hot and humid nowadays.

Hi, I have downloaded the Taiwan railway e-booking app on my iPhone and tried to create an account, but, unsuccessful. It keeps prompting me to key in a valid ID no , Name and Phone no. I have key in exactly my passport no as the ID no, my English full name as according to my passport and my Singapore handphone no.
Can I purchase the train tickets without a registered account on the e-booking app?
