Did you use a CC at the Pop-up?

I used a credit card that I never use for anything and I’m suddenly incurring thousands of dollars of charges in Sports tickets. Obviously I am reporting this as fraud, but it’s just random how this credit card has never seen the light of day and now the info is being misused.

Did you use a credit card at the pop-up? Have you received any fraudulent charges since then?

I am in no way accusing FPC or their affiliates. Card info can be hacked in a myriad of ways.

My only complaint…

Was Nikki literally just carrying her work clothes in her purse all evening explaining why she was dressed for work in the first morning after the wish?

I’m all for suspension of disbelief but this plot hole bummed me out.

This film triggered the crap outta me

Prepared to get dragged for this but here goes:

I’m WELL beyond the age group represented, but it seriously ripped fresh some old wounds.

I’ve done so much work and come so far from the whiny, clingy, BPD-diagnosed girlfriend from hell but Inde Navaette’s performance waa so so so so so good, that it snapped me right back to some incredibly humiliating behaviour I engaged in. The manipulation, the suicide threats, the self-harm…all of it.

It’s been 5 days since my first viewing and it has really affected me. Initially, I thought it was just because it was such a great movie - and it is! - but the recognition that has really made a mark.

I’m so grateful I got the professional help I needed and lived long enough to “outgrow” the diagnosis even though I’ll never outgrow the shame.

EDIT to add a list of behaviors that separate realistic BPD behaviors from the over-the-top ones that make the movie a movie.

Realistic:
-Jealously of other potential partners
-Irrational questioning of love/loyalty
-Self-harm*
-Threats of suicide
-Love bombing (over the top gestures like the gift of something that once belonged to her mother)
-Moving in immediately and never taking space
-Nonstop PDA and fawning
-Screaming, crying, feet stomping, breaking shit, etc
-Mood swings (In the movie, some of this is attributed to the “real” Nikki trying to break through but even Wish Nikki pulls out all the stops to get her way.)

(* I listed this in the other category as well because while self harm is a common behavior in people with diagnosed BPD, the extreme nature was theatrical)

Unrealistic/Extreme/“Movie” behavior
-The extreme examples of self-harm (broken bottle, whatever she hit herself in the face with in the final act - I think it was the gun, but can’t be sure)
-The extreme suicide threat by holding a gun to her chin
-Uh…Murder
-Self-soiling
-“Reading” books upside down (this actually might belong in the Realistic category haha)
-The duct tape on the door
