Anyone else not getting progress towards the argus weekly this week? I ran a raid didnt count but didnt notice til after i ran a alert and saw my progress was 1/5. Tried to run another raid but nothing. Ran a duo it worked. Anyone else having trouble with this event this week? Anyways to report this or imma have to miss a week?
I know razer is the most op art we have now but just curious whats a good replacement for it? Im asking as cele and light power user. Kinda tired of my combos being interrupted by razer so at times i just remove it. Whats a good replacement for razer to have when i remove it from my loadout?
So we all know and seen trolls tanks and healer put out insane amount of damage while still doing their job role. So it got me thinking. With all the augs, iconics, allies and arts we have is it possible to be a tank holding agro, troll giving yourself and team power, healing yourself and team and still end up with high dps numbers?
I was thinking controller role/power might be the best for this. Specifically metal. I know mental gets 2 shields. Then if you add the iconic shield it gives you 3. With fire aug you get a 4th. Plus a healing factor to yourself. If you add blue lantern you get some more heals and dps options. Then since you will be melee add water aug for aa for heavy quick damage. Arts not sure how you would spread them and which to put on but forsure heavy amount of sp would be require to work. We are given 12 slots and i was thinking 3 to 4 shields, 1 pull, 2 to 3 heals, 1 to 2 debuffs, 1 to 2 damage moves if not 1 with 1 dps supercharge.
What do you think? Is it possible with a high amount of sp, arts 160 to 200, the right power with aug you can tank, heal yourself and team, give yourself power and others all while doing heavy damage?
The type of players im talking about are the ones in hol shouting or on lfg yelling random stuff starting fights with people by either insulting them or whatever.
( i just sit there and read sometimes. Yeah trash talking in dcuo has been around since day 1 but to literally have nothing being said on lfg for 10 mins and randomly see someone starting talking mad trash about whatever like what just happened. did you get on everyday just to be mad?)
The type of player with either a bunch of x or l or numbers or numbers for letters in their name. Or name is literally quduqb38 but somehow running end game content.
( i get most of us have a character that is suppose to be a other character why not try to be alittle more creative. or are these just bot accounts or something?)
The type of player that has a decent level art 120-160 cr 115+ looks pretty cool but cant do simple mechanics or play like they just hit level 30.
( example was in a soa flashback alert. Pure dps team no one wanted to switch or couldnt. I said doesnt matter ive done plenty pure dps teams and beat this easily. This team all have arts and allies and cr 115+ should be a easy run still. Nope wonder women beat us so many times. Why? Had 2 players who think the aoe symbol mechanic doesnt hurt anyone or when she is blocking its the right time to go ham and button smash all your powers. Like i was like how did you 3 get this far and cant do something so simple as match the symbol on the floor to the one thats above your head. )
The type of player that stands near broker sending tells to anyone nearby asking them to buy this and that for them. Or shouting buying a certain item. But the item is in the broker but wants to buy it 1/4 the price.
( i cant help but think its so easy to make money in the game why are you wasting time begging when you can use that time to make some easy cash. Granted i dont mind buying stuff for those who actually need it (new players) but if i see you standing there 5 days in a row and you asking for someone to buy you ivy waist that cost 200k i just cant. )
Just got the bp and was gonna equip the back bling with my favorite sprite air but its not showing up. I see it for the skin but the back bling it has all available if mastered but the air ones. Is it glitched or they didnt add it yet or whats the story for only that one not showing up. I already mastered the normal one and the galaxy one
edit correction besides the air, batman (obviously) peanut, seven and vini arent in the back bling options. but still air missing seems odd and unusual to me
I usually play as dps cele and run mostly any content except elite stuff. When i play i always find myself in a group where we are missing one or 2 roles. Usually we are missing tank and troll, healer troll, or all 3 and ppure dps. So i decided hey let me get some heal gear and arts and step aside from dps and get back to healing. Sure enough as a healer i get grouped with 2 other healers. Granted sometimes they arent geared or anything but still. Go back to dps, q up, get in and no roles or missing healer. Same for my alt. Made a light controller and everytime i q i have 2 other controllers with me.
Dc loves to mess with me. When i want to dps they tell me to heal. When i want to just heal or control they put 2 more with me. Love the game still just funny how they mess with me like this.
This is base on fresh 30s. Why do you think players go into duos raids alerts and q as a tank, troll or healer but stay dps. Or worst go in as the job but have no gear at all. Cant count how many times ive seen a healer come in with 3 level 0 arts 2 lvl 20 dps arts, no heal gear and complain they cant keep up with the heals. Like art i get it but gear? They literally give you a free set of gear to be either your role or dps. Im honestly curious what goes through their heads thinking they can tank or heal without gear.
The q times are the same for everyone no matter the role as far as i know so whats the point. In other games like ffxiv healers and tanks get into missions faster but here as far as my experience its the same wait time for every role
edit : agree the game does a bad job explaining what roles are and what arts really are. i still dont believe q times are faster since in my experience its the same. just depending on time if i get in fast or not. arts shouldnt be introduced til level 30 i think. atleast there we can know our powers better and have an idea what role we want. also give them a chance to explain roles better during the artifact quest. if i was them id combine the artifact misson with the omni guy that way same mission you can get 1 art and set gear. by doing this they can improve the mission to explain what art are and why they are useless until level 80 and what roles are. will they do it doubt it.
So my main has a razer at 120 and transformation at 135. I would like to hit 160 on one of them. Im assuming razer would be the better choice but since trans is higher i was leaning towards that more since im cele.
Which would you say i should level?
As well i dont get to play alot and dont have much xp saved that i might not be able to get one to 160 at all. So my other question is should i level some of my alts art instead to 80 atleast and then use the rest on my main and start to save up for the next 2x xp? Which we assume would be in another 6 months. Then when it happens i should have enough stored to level 2 to 3 atleast to 160.
Got back to the game about a month ago and had no problems connecting. Now the last few days ive been getting these messages nonestop. Before i reach the character selection i get this error. Then by some miracle i get passed it and into the character selection i click on a character or dont after 10 seconds i get another error no matter what and the cycle continues. The times i can actually get in the game im alive for like 20 mins before i crash. My interent is good. Ive tested it and tried it out on other games and no problem. I disconnected other devices and still keep getting this. Turn off system reset game tried it all. Is there anything i can do or is this pretty much the end of the rope for me for this game

I have a 120 razer, 80 omega, 93 la mort, 135 transformation and sinestro 120
Ill be working on transformation and razer for sure to hit atleast 160
I was watching random dc stuff and came across this mr freeze look. I completely forgot mr freeze used to look like this. So question is is it possible to get this look in dcuo? Ive looking around but i dont think so right? Would love to make a character with a look like this. I honestly think this is a better look for freeze compared to what we have now
Back story : Ran into a player yesterday who wasnt doing anything during a mission. Was afk for a good portion of the start and mid way wasnt doing much. I decided to wait a bit to see if they were afk since they needed to do something real quick. Next thing i know the player starts talking oh you gonna help or just stand there? Oh i guess imma have to carry you? Man i have to do all the work. But when you look at the damage they arent even half of what i did cause they were busy afk or flying around doing nothing. Part of the objective was only done since i did it and they didnt help. When at boss fight they go afk again come back i had to report you for not helping me. Like what you the one not doing anything haha. So i ended up reporting them also. to cover myself/defend. Its one thing to just be starting or not knowing what to do but the player was afk had no gear on except a weapon and acting like they did something.
So my question is how good is support? Like im not looking to have the player banned or suspended or whatever. Im just trying to defend myself and make sure i dont end up getting in trouble for running into a player expecting for someone to do everything and when they have to do something small complain like they had to do everything. How long does it actually take to get a response or they dont reply at all? What happens if both of us get in trouble for whatever reason like do we both get banned supended or warning or what?
edit: i assumed suport wasnt gonna do anything to me or him. i dont care if they do anything to him honestly. the report was to just cover myself and defend my side. since now a days people get banned for the smallest stuff in other games. and the devs or moderators dont even try to get the other players side. they just hear one thing from one player and bam that players banned or suspended.
