3rd IUI success!

After 21 months of unexplained infertility, we finally got our first ever positive! 🥹

Here’s what was different this round:

• Letrozole instead of Clomid. I responded well to Clomid the first round, but the second round I did not so I did Letrozole starting on CD 15. This third round, I only did Letrozole and my follicles grew quick. Had the IUI on CD 12 at 10am.

• Since things were moving quick, I only did my trigger shot 23 hours before the IUI vs 36. However, I’m confident I ovulated the morning after the IUI (about 42 hours after trigger)

• We tried on our own the morning after the IUI (about 20 hours after IUI and 42 hours after trigger shot). I was having ovulation pain on the side with my follicles that morning.

• We used Preseed - we had used this before but not every time

I also just had a feeling this round that I was pregnant. I got my first very faint line on 9dpo/10dpiui at exactly 3 weeks along. Currently 11 dpo and have my blood test scheduled for Monday morning. Praying for a sticky, healthy baby!

First positive ever in 21 months

I am literally in shock. I just knew it this month. It was our third cycle of IUI and everything just lined up perfectly. Praying for a sticky baby🥹🩵🩷

10 dpiui / 9 dpo

I feel like maybe I see something extremely faint… I know it’s early and I’ll test again tomorrow obviously but in the meantime, does anyone see anything?

Had my IUI on 5/4 but pretty confident I ovulated the next morning!

Hi everyone!

I’m curious how everyone’s LH looks after their trigger shot. I’m on round 3. My first 2 rounds I did my trigger 36 hours before IUI.

Round 1, I peaked the day in between trigger and IUI. Round 2, I peaked the day of the IUI and about the same the next day.

This round, I was on a shorter timeframe as the doc said my body was starting the process on its own (though my hormones and follicles weren’t really any different than the first 2). So, they wanted me to trigger last night at 9:30 for my IUI this morning at 9:30. I didn’t feel comfortable only doing 12 hours so I took it after they called me at 11am yesterday, so it was about 23 hours before. I got a very positive LH today (the highest I’ve ever caught actually).

I guess I’m just curious how much weight I should place on it. I know ovulation generally occurs 24-36 hours after the peak, but is that the same when you take the trigger shot? What’s everyone’s experience?

Thanks in advance! 🙂🙂🙂
