Sorry if this gets posted here often. I am playing as the High King of Ireland, and I was leading troops in Scotland when I made myself my daughter's guardian. When she arrived, I received the above letter from my character.
I read it recently. I thought it was good and Funder's points were well-made and sourced, even though the book was a blatant character assassination. I don't think Funder was trying to persuade the reader that people shouldn't read Orwell, and if she was, it didn't work on me.
In my current run as Norman England I had 7 English Cardinals, but most of them were voting for a French guy as the next Pope.
I can't remember it being stated. If not, where do those names come from?
