How would you defend Lukow airfield ?
Hi I am working on a new scenario for Arma 3 and I am looking for some inspiration. Maybe the community can help me, when I try and come up with a plan myself I overthink everything and take it too far.
So you are now in charge of defending this airfield. 😄
To help you here ae some constraints: you already have AAA system setup somewhere else, so it's mostly for ground defence, and assume this would be your "Last Stand" in the region.
ERA: 2035

For Enemy size I would say expect anything from a company to a battalion combined arms assault. Mostly dismounted infantry, supported by Armor and Spec Ops FO with Sniper capabilities. Your enemy will also have indirect fire support available Mortars to Large 155mm.
Your troops are Airborne (Air assault) Infantry that captured the airfield days ago and have since been reinforced.
total strength is a approx. a reinforced company.
- HQ element + 3 Rifle platoons
- HAT Section
- Mortar section
- Combat engineers with FASCAM mining equipment and concertina wire
equipment you have available (US based systems used as example:
- 4x LTV TOW systems
- 6x HAT units (equivalent: javelin)
- 2x 81mm mortar
- 6x MMG teams (7.62mm)
