Just released our JCA spotting scope. With the ability to raise/lower it and matching our precision scope that comes with our M115A3, it should provide a good bit of utility to sniper teams.

Tier One Weapons nitpick and question.

For some reason, the AI when given the MK.48 (in any variant) from Tier One Weapons don’t really utilise it as a medium machine gun, and use it more like some average 7.62 DMR and tap fire it instead of utilising bursts, is there an easy fix for this, or any other weapon mods that feature the MK.48? Thanks.

A3 Gui editor

Hey guys,

I know it's a little bit late for a tool like this, but better late than never! I finally got tired of losing my mind manually calculating coordinates and typing out config.cpp files for custom dialogs, so I decided to put together a visual editor as a personal project.

A3L GUI Editor is just a free, web-based canvas I made to make building UI completely painless. Instead of guessing numbers in a text editor, you can just drag, resize, multi-select, and layer your controls right in your browser. It handles all the annoying Arma math for you and automatically resolves complex expressions for GUI_GRID, SafeZone, and Pixel Grid.

You don't even have to start from scratch. I packed it with 51 presets covering standard Arma and Life/RP base classes, and you can import your existing config.cpp files to just edit them visually. It respects Arma's class inheritance too, so the code it spits out is super clean and only includes the stuff you actually changed. I also added Photoshop-style tabs for managing multiple dialogs, alignment guides to snap things into place, and a way to upload PNGs so you can actually preview your textures on the canvas.

Since it’s just a web app, there's nothing to download or install. It's totally free and just something I built to make modding a bit easier.

I'll drop the link to try it out in the comments below! Let me know what you guys think, or if you run into any weird bugs.

Any terrain mods for Altis that removes "the war"?

We all know and love Altis but there is a military base on every hill which is good for modern settings kinda "looks out of place"

Is there a terrain with all that removed?(I know hide terrain exists but lazy for every single time)

Cdlc iron curtain worth it?

Recently got back into Arma 3, and have been buying cdlc's like global mobilization and Sog prairie fire to have more content aside from the workshop, but I have been eyeing the iron curtain cdlc because I love cold war era gear, equipment and weapons as it was right before the technology advance like stealth technology and such. I know back then on release it was highly disliked because of texture quality and just the high bar it had and failed to meet it but since then it's gotten multiple updates and I wanted to come ask the community. Is it's worth the buy now?

Killa Tomata Creator of DUWS_X Died from cancer treatment side effects last year.

just found out killa tomata died, ive always been a fan of DUWS and his version was the best. a new one DUWS_T and mentioned his passing which is how i found out. under the comments of the mod, someone said this is what the wife said-

Hello DUWS_X Community,

This is Mrs. Killa Tomata, and I have very sad news. Mr. Killa Tomata died in October of 2025 from the side effects of cancer treatments. We, me and the little tomatas, are literally crushed. And it took some time for me to get the courage up to look at this site. I am not familiar with Discord at all. Killa was extremely proud of this mod, and enjoyed working on it very much. The family would like to see his legacy here continued. I'm not sure how this all works, and I don't even know if I am posting in the right spot. He had so many tabs open! Can one of his other developers contact me through here?

I'm sorry if I'm committing atrocious acts here, but how are you able to place in soldiers in a vehicle, like the helicopter? (ARMA 3 EDEN EDITOR)
