Hello all, installed an aftermarket alternator which was not plug and play. It requires power, grounding(obviously), and a signal to power it. I tried to tap into the yellow-black wire in the original harness but it seems to not turn on. Car I believe is running off the battery.
12.2V - off
On with speakers 11.8V
I was wondering if there is any closer tap ins for ignition power besides the one I use for my head unit.
Also, I know I shouldn’t have cut the harness and I know I should’ve got the plug and play. I went the “cheaper” and harder route. Really would just like some help
(Main reason I am installing is because I snapped my alternator bolt while trying to install big 3 FML)
Open to all opinions and help!!
