Anyone wish they put in more man doors?

I’m building a 4500sf metal building. It will have 3 bays of garage doors on one side.

I’m trying to figure out how many man doors I should put in. I’m thinking of a door on each of the 3 other walls. But my concern is security, 2 sides face other parcels of undeveloped land. Those doors would easy the weak point. I’d put cameras on those sides. But they would be hidden from my house view.

Without the doors I’m worried that the building only has exits on 2 sides in case of fire or emergencies.

What have you guys done with your building?

Just got a quote from China my garage doors. This is the lowest price I’ve gotten so far. Just wanted to see if the experts here can help me analyze this quote.

I’m looking for insulated high lift garage doors with a side mount motor. These are for my garage and workshop. They don’t need to be commercial quality as they won’t be going up or down very often.

Question about how to size a custom garage door for a metal building

I have ordered a red iron building with a 20’x10’ garage door opening.

When I order the custom glass garage door for it, should I order one exactly 20’x10’?

I was told to make the garage door 2” wider on each side so that the garage door would overlap the opening and seal better. Does this sound right?

Thinking about if the door were the exact same size as the opening it would be harder to seal the edges.

This is for an insulated and climate controlled workshop. So I do want it to seal tightly.

It makes sense to me.

Covering a toilet clean out?

New construction home, my toilet clean outs are right behind each toilet. I’m assuming if I had any problem with this sewer that I would have to remove the toilet to access the clean out anyway.

I am going to replace the toilet with a smart toilet that will be flush up against the wall and you wouldn’t even see this clean out at all. Would this be ok?
