UK based Company - Stripe Tax is flagging EU VAT registration thresholds but UK place of supply

We're a UK-based business selling live virtual trainings (B2B & B2C). Stripe Tax has flagged 16 countries as "threshold exceeded — needs attention" and is now blocking VAT collection on EU transactions via our direct registration links.

Our tax advisor has confirmed that as a UK business selling live virtual training, place of supply is the UK under HMRC guidelines. We are not required to register for VAT in EU countries.

The problem is Stripe's automatic tax mode doesn't seem to accommodate this and is treating us as though EU registration is required before it will collect tax. Stripe support hasn't been able to offer a configuration solution beyond telling us to register.

Has anyone resolved this? Is switching to manual Tax Rates the right solution for UK businesses where place of supply overrides destination-country rules? Did anyone deal with VAT incorrectly not being collected on transactions while these alerts are active?

Would really appreciate hearing from other UK businesses who've navigated this.
