Correct Uzbekistan flag?

I was watching the BBC’s recap of the World Cup so far this morning, which included short segments of each opening ceremony.

Thought I might be mistaking things so I sought out the Uzbekistan vs Portugal match opening.

The flag of Uzbekistan, as presented to the world audience by the Uzbek football team and by FIFA doesn’t seem to match with the version on Wikipedia, and I can’t seem to find any evidence of a change in its design on any English, Uzbek, or Russian language sources.

The original design, which is featured on Wikipedia, has a similar style crescent moon to the kind used by the Maldives, Mauritania, and Singapore, whereas the design shown here in massive form clearly has a more Turkey/Libyan style shape, more common amongst crescent moon designs.

Is this now the official flag of Uzbekistan?

The President of Uzbekistan’s own website clearly shows massive banner images where the flag’s old design is featured prominently, but it feels weird to have such a massive discrepancy between the flag you use at home and the flag which is broadcast to millions of people across the world?

If moderation is so bad…

I would heavily recommend using the chat function and your imagination.

Grok seems to hold anything you generate to a purity test, but not for text. Ask it to write in novel style and it will put out erotica of a really good standard. Obviously not as appealing as image and video but if they’re off the table, it makes no sense not to go for this.

A paragraph for example:

Updates to voice?

Anyone else notice that the voice on Grok seems way better than it used to be? There’s a breath every full stop and brief pause, and seems to get a little quick at the end of long sentences, like a human would?
