So as far as I can explain it with my understanding.

You need to know that I am believer of Awakened to act accordingly with his flaw and towards it if they are destined to walk path of ascension.

Example: Sunny (connected to mordred) He is unable to tell a lie, therefore by telling truth he gained friends. If he were to decide to keep lying and try to hide things from them they would eventually fade apart, so by admitting everything ro them in Noctis nightmare he gained allies that saved him from solo death.

Anvil instead of loving his enemies and serve out of loyalty to his friends and family he became emotionless sucidial maniac, and died accordingly after losing everything.

Mordred is quite simple, he became shattered and he had to piece himself together by "absorbing" his other selves. It was required because each version of him only experience 1 certain feeling, by becoming whole he is still scattered there are still 7 of him inside and we saw how he acted. Fulldred was switching his emotions every second, ruthless killing, act of mercy, curiousity, friendliness. He is able to express only 1 emotion at a time at 100%, reflecting that emotion against anyone he would face.

If he were to act against his nature he would have experience stagnation, no progress and in his loneliness he would stand alone against stronger and stronger enemies until the last shard broke, died in a pitch afar from anyone that could have saved him. Just as Sunny was dying cut in half during forgotten shore in a ditch.

If he is destined to reach the end he needs to act accordingly to his nature. Existance of a mirror that reflects whats in front of him, how can he help if everything thats in front of him is murderous, vile or want to kill him. However there was something new, a favor, mercy, helping hand with no malicious intentions, she was just there to offer kindness on Kindred by granting memories of his other part, before he was incapable of reflecting that. Now he shall offer to his friends notching but kindness in return.

King of notching, inherited notching but himself, has notching but himself, rules over notching but himself, and like a true mirror he can only offer you nothing but himself and what stands in front of him. Murderous intent for enemies that want to kill him or kindness for his friends.

Here ends my quick and shallow analysis of Character mordred and how similar he is to our Sunny as... well as reflection of him that went the wrong path but found its light in the end, possibly only because Fate was shattered and he was able to choose this destiny for himself just like Changing star was destined to kill Anvil but faced Ki song.

Sunny and Nephis had entire days ro spent with him that ended with glorious supreme turning against them because he quite literally lost his memories and his own self.

Do you guys recall why Vile Skeleton head in shadow realm went there? Because he was actively losing memories and becoming like other skeletons.

+ do you people truly believe g3 didnt already knows about it, and think he will survive because disgusting skeletons remembers his name?

The only question is how he will decide to finish Asterion.

1. He may go with the foreshadowing of Eurys head becoming darker causing memory loss.

2. Because Eurys is the only one being able to remember Asterion he himself will only be able to manifest in front of him, thats auto GG

3. For Asterion to anchor his idea into someone he either needs some strong of influence / penetrating their mental defense, or him being supreme negates his authority to mention his form as it similar in nature to his manipulation and he was rejected shortly after Sunny mentioned him ( conclusion vile skull is too strong for Asterion to fuck around with without direct influence )

So you guys know that theory if you try to fight your flaw instead of embracing you are hindering yourself, Anvil created his own failure, while Sunny and Nephis are rising with victory after victory and Ki song created beautiful family that became her strengt, because they accepted their flaw.

I think thats what Asterion is doing, I genuinely believe his flaw is something as "do stuff slowly".

He didnt killed mordred for his entire fight, that could have lasted hours. He didnt destroyed second eye of Cassie because he took his time, he didnt gained control of humanity and then slowly cultivated it into a worthy feast, he didnt kill Cassie before supremacy because he took his time.

All of his failures are caused by him acting slowly, without need of urgency. However he will meet the same fate as everyone else that denied his flaw.

He is trying to speed things up. Instead of waiting for his perfect chance to strike, he ironically moves too quickly.

He could have waited for time when Cassie was more isolated, like when Nephis and Sunny were on their way to Tomb or in another nightmare.

He could have waited until human domain expended even further so he could eat it whole at once in some isolated environment.

He even could have waited until nephis and Sunny were on their way to tomb instead or another nightmare to descent and secretly steal their subjects.

He also could have retreated waited until Mordred failed his divinity and then ambush Fulldred when he is a domainless supreme beast.

Ha, he also very well could have waited until Nephis grows and to then betray broken sword and use him as a shield in the meanwhile, even better to eliminate other 2 supremes with that guy help, his mind controll seems to be strong enough for him to dominate him with enough time.

Hall of his failures exist because he acts too hasty, against his flaw.

Gods fought against beings of the void, after Neverending batttle against adversary that had the power to corrupt flame they trapped them with notching. Shadow god created death to cleanse corruption, their creations from flame fueled the cage.

Am I reading the hints well or will finale mimic will be recreation of gods vs void. All 3 elements used against void are recreated with divine 3.

Mordred notching will trap void/corruption, Nephis flame will fuel both of them while sunny death will kill forgotten god of dreams. In this kind of configuration?

I could speculate on more details but I havent seen anyone else mention this correlation
