Booking code with no confirmation of booking nor ticket number
Has anyone else had this issue? I had trouble paying for flights about 3 weeks ago where the options to pay were greyed out on the desktop site and the app. I eventually managed to pay via bank transfer (not my preferred method at all, and turning out to be a nightmare mistake) and got a booking code. However, I never got booking confirmation, nor a ticket number, and typing my booking code into the KLM website shows an error.
I have contacted KLM via WhatsApp. They confirm they received my money, but no ticket has been issued. They said to wait a few days. I waited, and nothing happened. Next, I asked for a refund instead as I have never been given a ticket. The agent on WhatsApp submitted a refund request. Fast forward 10 days, the refund request is denied as there is no ticket number... But I don't have a ticket number. I tried to contact them on WhatsApp again, but this time it has been over 15 hours and no response.
Has anyone else had this issue? I am going to try and call KLM tomorrow to get to the bottom of the issue.
