I used to play piano when I was younger and I’m looking to get back into it as a hobby so hoping for some advice on the best model to get.

Key requirements:
- feels as close to an acoustic piano when playing as possible - weighted keys etc
- comes with, or can buy separately, a stand and 3 pedal setup so it looks like an upright acoustic. I don’t want an x-frame stand
- headphone compatible so I can play when kids are asleep
- max £850 all in
- likely between Roland or Yamaha

My dad has a Roland FP30X which I like playing but I procrastinated on buying one for too long and now it’s discontinued.

Any recommendations greatly appreciated.

I got my 2023 XC40 recharge in Jan this year. Only had 16,000 miles on it so it’s not been thrashed.

From day one I’ve had issues with CarPlay dropping its connection when I go over a bump but it’s got worse. I’ve tried multiple cables and wireless adapters but have the same issues and it’s only got worse over time. Now it’s 50:50 if it will even connect in the first place.

Anyone found a solution to this? I use Waze to navigate and have got used to having CarPlay in previous cars. It’s driving me barmy!!
