So I’m an incoming freshman at UVM and when I was asked about housing communities I picked arts and creativity because it’s a thing I lean towards. I did research (but clearly not enough) and it seemed fine. Now that I’ve looked into it more everybody says it’s shit, the amenities are terrible, the social scene is not great, and it’s super isolated. I’m afraid that I’ve chosen wrong and switching would have to involve both me and my roommate which would make it a lot more difficult. What should I do? Should I bite the bullet and switch? Is it not as bad as people say it is? Is the community and social life good? Have I ruined my college future???? Has this one decision been the first domino to fall in a terrible UVM experience????
