I am attending a family wedding in Leeds in late September. I would like to travel during the weeks leading up to the big weekend and want to keep my luggage to a minimum.

Therefore, I would like to ship the outfits for the wedding weekend to myself, care of the bride who lives with her fiance in Leeds. The clothes are pretty much all used, although they look new. Even the used value would exceed 135 pounds.

First, what service should I use to ship? I see that USPS international is cheapest. Is it reliable? Is there a courier that is known for creating the fewest US Customs headaches?

Second, should I use the Temporary Admission procedure? I am reading that it is very complicated.
