Sarge Steel is a comic book spy and detective character, originally from Charlton Comics, who later became part of the DC Comics universe, known for his prosthetic steel hand and career as a government agent in the Central Bureau of Intelligence (CBI) and the Department of Metahuman Affairs.
Seems like a good fit and a character Gunn would be into. A cool, slightly obscure, secret agent type with a weirdly awesome metal hand.
